Gelişim University is one of the most famous private universities in Turkey. It has European accreditations for all majors in the university. It is the only Turkish university that reached the final competition among seven international universities in obtaining the internationalization strategy of the year award.
Istanbul Gelişim University was established in 2008 under the leadership of Mr. Abdulkadir Gairitli under the slogan “Openness to Development”. The university was opened in the Avcilar district of Istanbul.
